CarrotPDF is designed to process selected PDFs in your browser. This notice explains the current features and how they handle information.
PDF files and file names
The contents, names, and page previews of selected PDFs are used in your browser for editing. They are not uploaded to a server or sent to an external analytics service. Your output PDF is also created in the browser. Selecting a file does not publish it or submit it to the operator.
Website access and document processing
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load its interface and program files, Cloudflare may process connection information such as IP addresses, request times, and browser details to deliver and protect the service. PDF contents and file names are not uploaded to Cloudflare for editing. This notice will be updated if the site's operating arrangements change.
Advertising and analytics
The current version has no advertising or external visitor analytics tools installed. If these are introduced, this policy will be updated with the providers, information processed, cookie use, and available choices. Consent settings required for the relevant regions will be prepared before those features are enabled.
Ending a session and saving files
Editing takes place in your browser, so closing or reloading the tab may require you to select the files again. You manage the original files and downloaded results on your device. If you use a shared device, also check its downloads folder and the browser's save location.
Questions and policy updates
For questions, email support@carrotpdf.com. Mail is sent and received through iCloud Mail. If you send an email, your sender address and message content are delivered to the operator and the email service. Do not send original PDFs containing personal information. This notice will be updated to reflect changes to features or operating arrangements.
